An Intelligence Pod is an ERC-721 Asset that forms a critical part of the AI Protocol and is a necessary component in the creation of an iNFT. Any NFT from an NFT Collection that is compatible with and supported by the AI Protocol can be turned into an iNFT, once it is fused with an Intelligence Pod on Noah's Ark.
The necessity of the Intelligence Pod arises from the non-custodial framework of the AI Protocol. Rather than swapping, wrapping, staking, locking, or changing a user’s NFT in any other way, the AI Protocol enacts no technical change on the underlying NFT when turning it into an iNFT. Rather, the Intelligence Pod serves as a medium for the iNFT to access Intelligence that flows from the AI Engine.
When an iNFT is created by fusing the user’s NFT with an intelligence Pod, it is the intelligence Pod that gets locked in the AI Protocol, and as long as the fusion is maintained between the NFT and the intelligence Pod, the NFT is considered to be an iNFT. Each NFT can only link with one Intelligence Pod at a time. The AI Protocol, in effect, has an immutable registry of the fusions between NFTs and intelligence Pods.
This non-custodial framework allows users to utilize their unique digital assets in any other decentralized ecosystem and utilize the AI Protocol without any risk to their NFT. Ownership of the iNFT signifies the ownership of the Intelligence Pod fused with it.
Besides being a necessary component in the creation of an iNFT, one of the core functionalities of the Intelligence Pod is to ensure that the iNFT has a unique, on-chain, and open-ended personality. This is achieved by the on-chain Personality Traits of an Intelligence Pod.
As CharacterGPT and other AI models and systems are developed and launched, and as new dApps with unique properties are created and deployed - all on the Intelligence Layer of the AI Protocol’s tech stack - the various levels of an Intelligence Pod will take on new properties that dictate its powers and capabilities to access the distinct AI models, and/or provide distinct AI Services on dApps.
For example, when an Intelligence Pod is interfaced with on the Noah’s Ark Metaverse, the higher levels of the Pod allow it to access and provide AI Services from the AI Protocol, including:
The ability to make an iNFT create a video of it speaking with an uploaded audio. (Recite)
The ability to make an iNFT create a video of it speaking with its own voice. (Broadcast)
The ability for the iNFT to be interacted with, and have an intelligent conversation. (interaction)
The ability to generate pieces of digital art. (Generative Art)
Once an Intelligence Pod is fused with an NFT from any supported NFT collection, the Pod’s level is transferred to the iNFT it’s linked to, allowing for unique customization, fine-tuning of iNFT’s various parameters, and the personalization of the iNFT to fit the owner’s taste - all of which depend on the Intelligence Level of the Intelligence Pod
With the upgrade of the AI Protocol to V 2.0, Intelligence Pods have also been upgraded, as its Intelligence can now be scaled up through the persistent training and interaction with iNFTs on the Noah’s Ark Metaverse. These evolved Intelligence Pods now allow the iNFT they are linked with to create powerful decentralized applications (dApps) that allow for the iNFTs’ owners to provide AI Services, depending on their Intelligence Levels, to any AI Protocol-compatible Assets. In short, the Intelligence Pods now have superpowers to not just provide AI Services to their linked iNFTs, but they allow these fused iNFTs to provide the ability for entire communities of Protocol-compatible assets to provide those same AI Services.
History
The first 10,000 intelligence Pods were released as an exclusive drop on OpenSea. Any NFT owner seeking to bring their AI Protocol-compatible asset to the world's first Intelligent Metaverse can do so by purchasing one of these Intelligence Pods and fusing them with their NFT, as long as that NFT is part of a collection that is supported by the AI Protocol. In due time, the AI Protocol will soon allow for any Protocol-compatible NFT to be supported for Fusion.
Initially, the act of Fusion between an NFT and an intelligence Pod was irreversible. Currently, an iNFT can be unfused due to the design of the AI Protocol, which enables the reversing of fusions.
